The Glazers are making money. They bought the club in 2005 for something like 700 mill GBP, now estimate worth is somewhere between 1.1 and 1.3 billion GBP. On top of that they are actually making a healthy profit each year. Revenue is up, sponsorship is up. And it will keep going that way, as long as Manchester united remains one of the biggest club in the world (Which includes buying the best players). The way they have structured the deal, they are building value, so that they, when they feel the time is right, can sell the club. If the Glazers believed that maximum profit were 5-700 mill GBP, United would have been up for grabs.
